Reader review

To receive feedback is one of the most amazing feelings next to publishing your own work.

Reader feedback especially from my younger readers is the greatest feeling a writer can experience next to publishing their work. I'd like to thank you all for your continued support 🤗

About Me

My Work

image30

I realised at a young age that writing was a lifelong passion of mine. I grew up reading Stories written by Hans Christian Andersen and the Brothers Grimm. Wonderful fairytales with valuable life lessons, something I would later incorporate into my own writing. As a mother, I have enjoyed the bond which bedtime story reading fosters with my little boy. Sharing with him the same stories I read as a child and passing along the lessons.

Reading bedtime stories yields multiple benefits for parents and children alike. The fixed routine of a bedtime story before sleeping can improve the child's brain development, language mastery, and logical thinking skills.

The storyteller-listener relationship creates an emotional bond between the reader and the listener.

Bedtime stories are useful for teaching the child abstract virtues such as sympathy, unselfishness, and self-control, as most children are said to be "naturally sympathetic when they have experienced or can imagine the feelings of others".Thus, bedtime stories can be used to discuss darker subjects such as death, and other life lessons. As the bedtime stories broaden in theme, the child "will broaden in their conception of the lives and feelings of others".

It was this that inspired me to write a number of stories suitable for bedtime storytelling with the aim of changing the world one child at a time through storytelling.
